Ryan Facchini delivered a productive day on the mound in the Badgers’ 6-1 win over the Guelph Gryphons in the OUA West Regional Qualifier final. The General Humanities major pitched all nine innings in Saturday, Oct. 4 game, helping the Badgers clinch a spot in the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) Championship for the second consecutive year. The winning pitcher faced 34 batters, striking out 10 of them and allowing only one run. Facchini also showed strong command of the strike zone, delivering 78 strikes on 122 pitches for an impressive strike percentage of 64.
