Jalyn Mowry and the Badgers had a strong showing over the weekend at the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) Championships in Port Dalhousie, Ont. The Teacher Education major earned gold in the women's double event, with a time of seven minutes, 28 seconds and 684 milliseconds. The fifth-year athlete, alongside rowing partner Teagan Orth finished more than five seconds ahead of the second-place Guelph Gryphons. Mowry also raced in the women's eight event (6:48.034), helping to secure Brock a silver medal. The Badgers earned a fourth-place finish overall, improving by a noticeable margin from last year's seventh-place result.
