Hosting the 2026 OUA Championships at Welland Curling Club, Kaitlyn Dumoulin and the Badgers finished 3-2 over the weekend and placed sixth out of 16 teams. The second-year lead was voted on and selected as an OUA First-Team All-Star for her ability to set up ends, helping draw the stone to key positions to create an offensive advantage for the team. The Child Health major was key in the Badgers starting the weekend 3-0, including back-to-back seven-end victories, first winning 10-7 over the Windsor Lancers, then 6-3 over the Western Mustangs. Their final victory went the full eight ends, culminating in a 7-6 decision over the Waterloo Warriors. A strong sweeper, Dumoulin is highly respected as a dominant lead across the Ontario curling circuit.
