Brock University men's and women's wrestling was represented at the 2013 Francophone Games which took place in Nice, France.
Former Badgers and club wrestlers Michelle Fazzari and
CJ Hudson both competed as part of Team Canada. Also competing for Canada was former Badger and now member of the Calgary Dinos Club Jasmine Mian.
Fazzari captured gold at 59kg posting a perfect 3-0 record. She defeated Quebec's Liz Sera, Poland's Katarzyna Madrowska in the semi-finals and Cameroon's Edwige NGono Eyia (CMR) in the gold medal match.
Hudson captured bronze at 66kg finishing with a 3-1 overall record. His victories came against Madagascar's Todisoa Ratolojanahary, Poland's Pawl Albinowski and Qatar's Abduffrahman Ibrahim.
Mian placed third at 48kg posting a 1-1 record. Her lone victory came against Poland's Aleksandra Michalek
