
ST. CATHARINES, Ont - The Brock University women's soccer team (4-10-2 OUA) ended their season, sunday afternoon, with a strong performance playing to a 2-2 draw against the Waterloo Warriors (3-11-2 OUA).

Brock opened the scoring in the 37th minute when
Kelly Miller added her second goal of the campaign, firing a strike passed Lesia Bandura and into the top right corner of the net. Just two minutes later, Waterloo would find the equalizer with a goal off the boot of Adrienne Goldsworthy tying the game at 1-1. Kayleigh Macneil added a goal of her own, in the 44th minute, giving the Warriors the advantage after one half.Â
Miller proved to be a threat to the Lancers througout the majority of the game, registering six shots in the contest. However, it would be
Megan Salisbury who tied the game for Brock late, in the 88th minute, adding her fifth goal of the campaign. The goal from Salisbury would prove to be the final tally of the game; awarding both sides a point in the 2-2 draw.Â
Brock starting keeper,
Jenna Vasiliaskas, collected eight saves in the draw to cap off a strong season in goal. Vasiliaskas made 12 appearences for the Badgers this season registering a 2.49 GAA, with 91 saves.The senior highlighted her 2014 season by collecting two shutouts in her 11 starts.
Bandura started in goal for the Warriors, registering a total of four saves in the first-half. Madison Macdonald would play the second-half, in relief of Bandura, adding another three saves to the Warriors' total of seven in the match.
