The Brock Badgers women's soccer program has earned its most Ontario University Athletics (OUA) all-star selections since 2018.
On Wednesday, Oct. 29, the conference revealed their list of major award winners and all-stars for women's soccer.
Sabrina Bisante, Jenna Parris and Tia Schaffer were named OUA Second Team All-Stars after standout performances that contributed significantly to the Badgers' competitiveness this season.
"It's amazing to have three players recognized as OUA all-stars," said head coach Zack Wilson. "It's a testament to how the group performed this year and the respect these players have earned from coaches across the league. Their success is also a reflection of the entire team's effort and commitment and a sign that the program continues to move in the right direction."
Bisante, a fifth-year standout from Caledon East, Ont., started in all 12 games for the Badgers this season, providing consistent play at the forward position. This season, the Teacher Education major adapted her game to become a creative playmaker, contributing three assists and consistently setting up scoring opportunities for her teammates. Bisante's vision, composure and ability to influence play beyond the scoresheet were central to the team's identity. This marks the second time in three seasons Bisante has been named an OUA Second-Team All-Star.

Earning her first OUA all-star selection, Parris was recognized for her versatility and consistency across the field. The fourth-year forward started and played in 11 games for Brock, scoring two goals. On Aug. 30, the Hamilton product notched the game-winning goal in a 2-1 season-opening victory over the Algoma Thunderbirds. The Teacher Education major's work rate, positioning and commitment in critical moments were key factors in Brock remaining competitive in every match.

Emerging as one of the OUA's top defenders this season, Schaffer served as a key anchor in the Badgers' backline, starting in 11 of the 12 games she played. Alongside her defensive responsibilities, the Saskatoon, Sask., native scored six goals, providing a crucial offensive spark throughout the season. The Professional Kinesiology graduate student scored both goals in a 2-0 win against the Waterloo Warriors on Sept. 14. Schaffer's six goals placed her first among all OUA defenders and 11th overall. In her first and only season at Brock, the transfer from the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks displayed leadership on and off the field, combining tactical awareness, positioning and composure to control games from the centre back position. Schaffer has earned OUA Second-Team All-Star honours for the second time in three seasons, after first being named one in 2023 with the Ridgebacks.
