WATERLOO, Ont. - The Brock University women's rugby team (0-4 OUA) dropped a 43-24 decision to the Laurier Golden Hawks on the road Friday afternoon. With the loss, the Badgers are eliminated from the playoffs with Laurier clinching a playoff berth for the second straight season.

Laurier was led by L. Gilmore, who led all scorers with 18 points registering two trys and four converts. C. Graves contributed with two trys, while G. Geremia, D. Mitchell and N. Snyder all added single trys to round ot the Golden Hawks scoring.

Scoring for the Badgers were Lauren Kniewasser, Carley Walls, Brittany Mels and Kelsey Smith who all recorded single trys. Meagan Hart converted on two of four attempts finishing with four points on the afternoon.

The Badgers next action is October 4th at 3:00pm when they host the Guelph Gryphons at the Brock Rugby Field.
