Box Score The Brock Badgers women's hockey team (1-18-4) dropped to a 4-2 decision to the Nipissing Lakers (12-8-3) Friday night in North Bay.

The Lakers opened a 3-0 lead before Laura Neu connected for the Badgers with her seventh goal of the season, exactly five minutes into the second period.  

Nipissing took a 4-1 lead into the third when Melissa Hurrell scored on the powerplay at the 19:09 mark for her second of the campaign.

Stephanie Loukes made 21 saves in the loss for Brock who was outshot 25-13 overall.

The Badgers did finish the game 1-for-3 on the powerplay, while the Lakers were 0-for-3.

Brock concludes its season Saturday afternoon at Laurentian.
