Box Score WINDSOR, ON - The Brock University women's hockey team dropped a 2-1 decision to the Windsor Lancers on the road Saturday afternoon.

Windsor opened the scoring just 30 seconds into the opening period as Kystin Lawrence beat Brock starting goaltender Jensen Muphy (Kingston, ON) for her first goal of the season. Just six minutes later, Lawrence would add her second goal of the game.

Midway through the first period, Christina Ieradi (Maple, ON) and Melissa Hurrell (Caledon, ON) would setup rookie Kiana Tobia (Toronto, ON) for her first goal as a Badger to make it 2-1.

The final two periods was a goaltending dual between the Badgers Murphy and Windsor's Morgan Farrow. Murphy finished with 28 saves in the loss while Farrow turned aside 25 of 26 shots she faced in the loss.

The Badgers are on the road this week against the Guelph Gryphons (Oct. 19) and York Lions (Oct. 22).
