
WATERLOO, ON - The Brock University women's rugby team picked up their first victory of the season as they defeated the Waterloo Warriors by the score of 33-12 on the road Sunday afternoon.
The Badgers jumped out to a 20-5 lead at the half, with
Sarah Pretty adding two trys and
Alanna Mercer one.
Meagan Hart connected on one of three converts in the opening 40 minutes and also chipped in with a penalty kick.

Danielle Hammith and Team Canada playerÂ
Niamh Haughey both added one try each. Hart chipped in with her second penalty kick of the game finishing with eight points on the afternoon.
Brock will close out the regular season on the road against the Laurier Golden Hawks on October 7th. In the tight OUA Sheild Division this game has playoff implications.
