PETERBOROUGH, ON - The Brock University women's volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision to the Trent Excalibur Friday night on the road (25-23, 22-25, 24-26, 20-25).
With the loss the Badgers drop to 2-1 on the regular season.
The Badgers were led by
Alanna Norris (Whitby, ON) who contributed with six kills, 10 digs and three aces.
Renee Helmer (Waterloo, ON) and
Darby Taylor (Thorold, ON) both collected six kills each.
Rookie setter
Emily Armstrong (Oshawa, ON) finished with 23 assists and five digs while libero
Karlinna O'Leary (Whitby, ON) added 10 digs in the loss.
Leading the Excalibur were the duo of Camile Garzon and Austen Condie who combined for 25 digs, 12 aces and 22 digs.
For the match, the Badgers hit .221 adding 36 kills with 15 errors on 95 total attempts. Trent had a .205 hitting percentage adding 43 kills with 20 errors on 112 attempts.
