Credit: Valerie WuttiOTTAWA, ON - The No. 8 Brock University men's basketball team dropped a 90-52 decision against the No. 1 Carleton Ravens Saturday night at the Raven's Nest. With the victory, Carleton advances to the OUA Final Four in Toronto next weekend.
The Badgers end their season with an overall record of 27-11, the fourth most wins in a single season. Brock men's basketball would like to thank the three graduating senior players;

 The Badgers had their slowest start of the season finding themselves trailing Carleton 26-6 after one quarter. Brock would cut the lead to 12 points midway through the second quarter, 30-18, but that was as close as they would come.
Ravens guard Connor Wood had a career night finishing with a game high 37 points, including 13-for-18 from the field and 5-for-8 from beyond the arc to lead the five-time defending CIS National Champions to victory.Â
Also in double figures for Carleton were Kaza Kajami-Keane and Guillaume Boucard who finished with 14 and 11 points respectively.
Leading the Badgers offense was
Johneil Simpson (Toronto, ON) who recorded 24 points and seven rebounds.
Dani Elgadi (Waterloo, ON) finished with 10 points and six boards in the loss.
For the game, Brock shot just 24.2% (16-for-66) from the field, 17.6% (3-for-17) from beyond the arc and 65.4% (17-for-26) from the charity stripe. The Ravens went 29-for-65 (44.6%) from the floor, 8-for-22 (36.4%) from long range and 24-for-28 (85.7%) from the free throw line.
