The Brock University women's rugby team defeated the Laurier Golden Hawks by the score of 32-10 Saturday night on the road.
The Badgers held a 22-10 lead at the half. The Brock defense was solid in the second half, holding the Golden Hawks scoreless for 40 plus minutes..
Leading the Badgers offense was
Niamh Haughey who recorded 12 points adding two tries and a convert. Single tries came from
Jenna Rainville,
Taylour Hurd,
Amarije Barnes and
Katelyn Heyens.
Brock will now play the Western Mustangs for fifth place and a spot in the top division for 2018.
