The Brock University women's hockey team defeated the Windsor Lancers by the score of 4-1 Saturday afternoon in Windsor.

After a scoreless opening period, Brock answered first, just one minute in the second as Amanda Ieradi gave the Badgers a 1-0 lead. With just five minutes remaining in the second period, Brock's Annie Berg and Christina Ieradi set up rookie Paige Cahoon who recorded her first regular season goal in a Brock Badgers uniform.

Eight minutes into the third period, Cahoon would register her second goal of the night to give the Badgers a 3-0 lead.  Amanda Ieradi and Kaitlyn Colonna added the assists.

With three minutes left in regulation, Windsor's Muna Fadel would break the shutout beating Brock starting goalkeeper goaltender Jensen Murphy for her second goal of the season.

With 1:13 left in regulation Kimberly Brown would add an insurance marker for her second goal of the weekend. 

In goal, Murphy turned aside 32 of the 33 shots she faced for the victory. Winsor's Morgan Farrell collected 29 saves in the loss.
