The No. 9 ranked Brock University women's hockey team ended the first half the regular season with a 2-1 loss in overtime to the Laurier Golden Hawks Sunday afternoon.
Brock finishes the first semester with 27 points and a 9-3-2 record, good for second place in the OUA standings.

Kailey Peirson for her first goal of the regular season. With less than a minute left in regulation, Laurier's Emily Woodhouse would tie the game 1-1 sending it to overtime.
Just 12 seconds into the overtime, the Golden Hawks Emily Visser would beat Brock starter
Jensen Murphy for the game winner.
In goal, Murphy recorded 22 saves for the loss. Laurier starter Hannah Miller turned aside 21 of the 22 shots she faced for the victory.
