Brock men's volleyball downs RMC 3-1

ST. CATHARINES, ON - The Brock University men's volleyball team defeated the RMC Paladins by the score of 3-1 Friday night at the Bob Davis Gymnasium (25-20, 19-25, 25-18, 25-22).

Senior captain Matthew Ragogna (Tottenham, ON) had a strong match for the Badgers registering 13 kills and 11 digs for the double-double. John Elgersma (Wellandport, ON) and Calvin Fast (Queenston, ON) both recorded 10 kills each while rookie setter Marcelo Correa ( Indaiatuba, Brazil) added 40 assists.

Brock collected 47 kills with 23 errors on 132 attempts for a .182 hitting percentage. The Paladins finished with 34 kills with 21 errors on 103 attempts for a .126 hitting percentage.

The Paladins were led by Dale Towe who led all scorers with 17 kills and a .417 hitting percentage.

The Badgers host the Queen's University Gaels Saturday night at 8pm as part of Senior Night to close out the OUA regular season
