St. CATHARINES, ON - The Brock University women's volleyball ended the OUA regular season with a 3-1 loss to the Queen's Gals Saturday night at the Bob Davis Gymnasium (27-25, 22-25, 25-27, 16-25)
Prior to the game, Brock volleyball head coach Dale Melnick honoured three graduating fifth year players in
Karlinna O'Leary (Whitby, ON),
Maddie Brown (Scarborough, ON) and two-sport athlete
Lauren Kniewasser (Ottawa, ON).
Brown led the Badgers offense finishing with 15 kills.
Brianna Hamilton (Dunrobin, ON) contributed with eight kills and 10 digs while
Laura Condotta (Etobicoke, ON) chipped in with eight kills and nine digs. Rookie setter
Emily Armstrong (Oshawa, ON) added 42 assists.
In her final Brock game, O'Leary finished with 24 digs. She finishes second all-time in career digs with 1381.
Queen's was led by Caroline Livingston who registered a game-high 27 kills.
The Badgers hit. .263 for the match registering 48 kills with 13 errors on 133 attempts. Queen's added 57 kills with 15 errors on 146 attempts for a .288 hitting percentage.
