Senior guard Melissa Tatti lit up the scoreboard with 24 points, yet the Brock women's basketball couldn't secure their first win of the season.
The visiting Guelph Gryphons defeated the Badgers 70-63 at Bob Davis Gymnasium on Saturday.
Tatti, a Welland native, added nine steals, six rebounds and four assists.
Guelph led 35-30 at halftime, and posted 24 points in the fourth quarter to hold off a Brock rally.
Miranda Smith posted 10 points, while Baelie Campbell contributed eight and Kirstin Gallant added six.
