Goaltender Logan Thompson made 41 saves to backstop the Brock men's hockey team to a 2-0 victory over the visiting Laurier Golden Hawks at Seymour-Hannah Arena in St. Catharines on Friday.
It was Thompson's second shutout of the season, and he currently sits third in the OUA with a .932 save percentage.
Thompson also leads the league with a total of 410 saves.
"Logan was great for us in net tonight," said head coach Marty Williamson. "Laurier is a big team and we needed to play in their face all night."
Jared Marino opened the scoring at 15:02 of the first period and Justin Brack made it 2-0 in the second.
Adam Berg, Matt Campese, Dexter Weber and Ethan Price each added an assist.
Laurier outshot Brock 41-21.
There were no penatlies called until the third period when a total of 13 infractions were called.
