The Brock women's volleyball team survived a close third set to sweep the visiting Guelph Gryphons and extend their win streak to four games at Bob Davis Gymnasium on Friday.
The Badgers defeated the Gryphons 3-0 (25-23, 25-20, 30-28).
"Fantastic match. The girls performed really well, especially to hold on and pull out the third set," said head coach Steve Delaney.
Outside hitter Laura Condotta was named Player of the Match. She recorded 16 kills with an efficiency rating of .341. She also registered 14 digs.
Alanna Norris passed at a sparkling rate of 2.40. Grace Edwards posted 11 kills and seven digs. Sarah Rohr added nine digs and the team celebrated the return of Tori Carrol to the lineup.
Mikayla Law-Heese tallied eight digs.
Brock served in at 93 per cent, including seven aces and only five errors.
"It was a back-and-forth battle every set. When we got down we were able to get back up," said Delaney. "We have a tough test tomorrow with Waterloo."
