The Brock men's hockey team secured a 4-1 road win over the division-leading Ryerson Rams to head into the holiday break on a winning note.
"Very proud of the guys. We are playing sound, smart hockey," said head coach Marty Williamson. "They need to enjoy the break and be ready for lots of fun in the second half."
Captain Brody Silk, Adam Berg, Jake Ringuette and Ryan Burton each found the back of the net.
Goaltender Logan Thompson made 29 saves.
The Badgers scored three goals in the first period. In the second, Ryerson scored 31 seconds into the frame. The Badgers tallied their fourth marker at 15:59.
Ethan Spaxman, Connor Walters, Justin Brack, Connor Brown and Ayden MacDonald each added an assist.
The Badgers (12-5) return to the ice when they host Ryerson on Friday, Jan. 4 at 7:15 p.m.
