Box Score The Brock women's volleyball team are on a three-game win streak after defeating the McMaster Marauders 3-2 (23-25, 25-19, 18-25, 25-15, 15-13) in Hamilton on Sunday.
The Badgers move into second place in the OUA West Division with a record of 8-5.
Grace Pyatt scored nine kills for a .400 kill percentage, three service aces, three digs and two blocks.
"It was great, that's a huge win for us," said head coach Steve Delaney. "We made it hard on ourselves at times, but it was great to see us fight and pull that one out."
After trailing 1-2, the Badgers roared back with a 25-15 win in the fourth set and held off the Marauders 15-13 in the fifth.
"It was awesome for Hanna Davenhill to come into the fifth set and get a big block for us, which ignited the team and gave us the energy we needed to pull out the fifth set," said Delaney.
Laura Condotta racked up 11 kills, 14 digs and two service aces. Grace Edwards registered 10 kills, 13 digs and two blocks. Darby Taylor also tallied two blocks.
Emily Armstrong posted a season-high 15 digs and Mikaylla Law-Heese added 13.
Up next, the Badgers travel to Guelph to play the Gryphons on Thursday, Jan. 31 at 6 p.m.
