The Brock women's hockey team split their four-game road trip 2-2 after a 3-1 loss to the Toronto Varsity Blues on Friday.
"Tough one. I thought we played really well," said head coach Margot Page. "Our energy and compete level was fantastic."
Toronto struck first just 45 seconds into the game, but Brock's Makyla Porter replied with an unassisted goal three minutes later.
The Varsity Blues took the lead with a power-play goal with less than 30 seconds remaining in the second and tallied a marker in the third.
Badgers netminder Jensen Murphy made 28 saves. Brock put 21 shots on Toronto goalie Erica Fryer.
Up next, the Badgers (6-5-4-2) return home to host the Ryerson Rams (10-5-3-1) at Seymour-Hannah Arena on Saturday, Jan. 26 at 7:15 p.m. Get your tickets here.
