The Brock men's hockey team edged the York Lions 2-1 as Badgers goaltender Mario Cavaliere made 30 saves for the win in Toronto on Friday.
Earlier this season, the Badgers lost 3-2 to the Lions on home ice.
"This was a grind game, and the guys stuck with it," said head coach Marty Williamson. "It was a nice game by Cavs."
Brock opened the scoring in the second period on a power play.
Senior forward Ryan Burton's shot found its way through traffic to the back of the net at 18:35. Frankie Pucci and Jordan Sambrook each recorded an assist.
Connor Brown potted an empty netter late in the game before York's Scott Feser scored a goal during the man advantage with 30 seconds left in the game.
Brock outshot York 32-31. Cosimo Fontana and Connor Walters each added an assist on Brown's goal.
Up next, the Badgers (9-5) visit the Ryerson Rams (9-5) on Saturday, Nov. 23 at 7:15 p.m.
