The Brock men's hockey team will get a second crack at the Ryerson Rams when they return to Toronto next week.
Ryerson narrowly defeated Brock 2-1 at Mattamy Athletic Centre on Saturday.
After a scoreless first period, Brock and Ryerson traded three goals in a span of less than two minutes in the middle of the second.
The Rams opened the scoring before Adam Berg scored the game-tying goal just a minute later, however Ryerson's Hayden McCool's marker would stand as the game winner.
Ryerson outshot Brock 31-22. Defenceman Connor Walters picked up an assist on Berg's goal, which snapped a four-game pointless drought for one of the team's leading scorers.
Up next, the Badgers (9-6) return to play the Rams (10-4) on Thursday, Nov. 28 at 7:15 p.m.
