Box Score The Brock women's volleyball team's win streak came to an end in Waterloo against the No. 4-ranked Warriors on Friday.
After winning the opening set, the Badgers lost 3-1 (25-18, 23-25, 23-25, 16-25).
"We handled them in the first set, but played poorly in the beginning of the second," said head coach Steve Delaney.
The Badgers trailed 9-1 and 18-8 at different moments of the remaining sets, and pushed the Warriors in the second and third sets (23-25, 23-25)
"We just couldn't get consistent with our play," said Delaney.
In the last set, Brock lost outside hitter Darby Taylor to an injury.
"It was a tough loss, but the girls fought hard," said Delaney. "We didn't play up to our potential for the entire match."
Taylor finished with nine kills and Laura Condotta recorded 10 kills, three service aces and 13 digs.
Emily Armstrong finished with 42 assists and 10 digs.
Grace Pyatt secured six kills and a .455 kill percentage. Mikaylla Law-Heese made 12 digs while Tori Caroll and Jennifer Todd each posted seven kills. Caroll added three blocks.
Up next, the Badgers (12-6) return home to play their final game of the regular season: versus the McMaster Marauders (10-7) on Friday, Feb. 22 at 6 p.m. in Bob Davis Gymnasium.
