The Brock men's hockey team set a new record on Sunday.
The Badgers skated away with a 3-1 road victory over the York Lions for their 18th win of the campaign, which is the highest single-season win total for a Brock men's hockey squad.
These Badgers edged out the 2007-08 men's hockey team who recorded a regular season high of 17 wins.
"This is a special group of guys," said head coach Marty Williamson. "We were a little quiet early, but the boys hung in there after a late night getting home from Windsor."
Brock traveled to Toronto after a 4-3 overtime in Windsor on Saturday.
Versus York, captain Brody Silk opened the scoring at 17:16 of the second period. The Lions quickly replied before Tyler Rollo scored the game-winning goal in the third. Just Brack tallied Brock's third marker just a minute later.
Goalie Logan Thompson made 33 saves.
Up next, the Badgers (18-5-3-3) return home to host the Ryerson Rams on Friday, Feb. 8 at 7:15 p.m. at Seymour-Hannah Arena. Brock and Ryerson are tied for first place in the OUA West Division. Get your tickets here.
