Goaltender Tiffany Hsu posted her first career Ontario University Athletics (OUA) shutout to backstop the Brock women's hockey team to a 2-0 win over the Laurier Golden Hawks in Waterloo on Saturday, Nov. 13.
A first-year goaltender from Tapei, Taiwan, Hsu made 21 saves to earn the shutout in her first start for Brock.
After a scoreless first period, first-year defenceman Ella Krushelnicki scored her first career OUA goal to open the scoring with a power-play marker midway through the second.
Krushelnicki then assisted on Mishayla Christensen's goal late in the third period with less than 20 seconds remaining.
The Badgers killed off four Laurier power plays and outshot the Hawks 24-21.
