ST CATHARINES - Following a 1-1 tie in Guelph on Friday, the Brock Badgers women's soccer team and Guelph Gryphons once again ended in a draw with a 0-0 final at Alumni Field on Sunday afternoon.
Picking up two crucial late season points, the Badgers improve to 5-4-2 (W-L-T) on the season placing them currently in a tie for fourth with McMaster in the OUA West division.
On the field, both the Badgers and Gryphons struggled to break through either side defensively with the two teams combining for just seven shots on goal through the entire 90 minutes. The Badgers back line of

Erica D'Alesio once again stood tall, with Brock goalkeeper
Isabelle Newkirk finishing the match with two saves.
The Badgers finish their regular season schedule next Friday, Oct. 21 against York in another critical late season contest as the Lions currently sit just one point ahead of Brock in the standings in third place. Kick off for the home finale is set for 6 p.m. with the game being streamed live on OUA.TV.
