Badgers season ends following OUA Championship Round Robin matches

TORONTO - Traveling to Toronto for the opening round robin matches of the OUA Championship, the Brock Badgers women's lacrosse team saw their season come to an end after two losses on Saturday.

Entering the provincial championship as the lowest seed, Brock were in tough with two top-seeded opponents in the Guelph Gryphons and Western Mustangs within their round robin pool. In their first match early on Saturday morning, the Badgers were unable to find their form as they fell 18-0 versus the Gryphons. Brock then followed that up with a 24-0 loss to the Mustangs as they were unable to garner any momentum throughout the day.

Gaining valuable championship experience, the Badgers women's lacrosse team will look to build in the offseason and return to the provincial championship next fall with new energy and intention.
