The Brock men's volleyball team lost 3-0 (20-25, 18-25, 24-26) to the visiting Guelph Gryphons during its home opener at Bob Davis Gymnasium on Sunday, Nov. 13.
The Badgers pushed the Gryphons in the third set before ultimately falling 26-24.
Brock recorded double-digit kills in each set to total more kills (38-31) and digs (38-30) than Guelph, however the Gryphons' .400 hitting percentage overshadowed Brock's .189.

Sauli Lianga and second-year outside hitter
Kersey Robinson led the Badgers offence with 11 and 10 kills, respectively.

Grant Reddon recorded 26 assists and six digs. Senior libero
Ethan Kalef also added six digs.
Between the second and third sets, the Badgers welcomed recruit Nathan Gibbons of Hamilton and his family for signing a letter of intent ceremony. Gibbons plays for the Mountain Athletic Club and has experience with Team Ontario.
Up next, the Badgers play the Waterloo Warriors on the road on Friday, Nov. 18 at 8 p.m. before hosting the McMaster Marauders at Bob Davis Gymnasium on Sunday, Nov. 20 at 3 p.m. Tickets are available for purchase at
