TORONTO – The Brock Badgers women's hockey team dropped a 3-0 road contest versus the York Lions on Sunday afternoon in Toronto.
The loss marks the fourth consecutive defeat for the sliding Badgers early in the new season. Brock were not without opportunities as they sent 24 shots on the York net and had three powerplay chances in the Sunday showdown. However, the Badgers were unable to solve York goaltender Julianna Thomson.
Meanwhile, the Lions produced a goal in each period with markers from Brooke Anderson, Alexa Giantsopolous, and Jennifer Shaw.

Madison Cronkwright were able to produce a number of chances for the Badgers, including late in the third period.

Tiffany Hsu finished the contest with 28 total saves.
The Badgers next travel to Guelph for a mid-week game versus the Gryphons on Wednesday Nov. 19. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. with the game available to stream on OUA.TV.
