ST. CATHARINES - The Brock Badgers men's volleyball team dropped a four set match versus the Windsor Lancers on Friday night in Bob Davis Gymnasium. Set scores for the match were 25-19, 19-25, 20-25, 13-25..
Brock came out firing on all-cylinders as they caught the undefeated Windsor Lancers on their back heel, dominating at the net and forcing the visitors into costly errors resulting in a first set win for the Badgers. However, following the switch Windsor found their form and as the match carried on were able to bounce back and outlast Brock to victory.
For the second consecutive match Brock second-year outside hitter
Kylar Code led the team in scoring, producing 121 total points from nine kills, one serivce ace, and one solo block. Also strong on the outside and from the back row fellow Badger
Sauli Lianga added eight kills for eight points.
Competing for at the net with a very strong Lancers front line, Brock setter
Grant Reddon finished the match with 26 assists while also scoring five kills, a solo block, and one block assist. Freshman
Devin Cooney led all Badgers defensively with 11 digs.
Surpassing the 20-point mark, Windsor's Luca Nastase led all players on the night with 19 kills, one service ace, and three block assists.
