WINDSOR – Traveling to Windsor for a weekend series versus the Lancers, the Brock Badgers men's hockey team fell 4-1 on Friday night in the first of two matches.
The Badgers saw a fast start as they were first to score just over two minutes into the contest when
Adam Berg slotted home his seventh goal of the season from a crowd in front of the Windsor net.
However, following the opening goal the Badgers were kept off the scoresheet for the remainder of the game as Lancers goalie Nathan Torchia made 30 total saves in the win.
Windsor would score a late first period short handed goal, followed by three second period goals to pull away from the Badgers heading into the final 20 minutes of action.
During a physical final frame Brock did have some strong scoring chances, and Badgers goalie
Roman Basran made several more spectacular saves recording 26 stops on the night, but they were unable to close to gap.
The Badgers and Lancers are right back on the ice in Windsor tomorrow afternoon with puck drop scheduled for 4 p.m. The game can be streamed online via
