NORTH BAY - In a tale of two halves, the No. 5 nationally ranked Brock Badgers men's basketball team completed a huge comeback in a 99-66 road victory over the Nipissing Lakers on Friday night.
Trailing by 16 points late in the second quarter, the Badgers were propelled by a huge offensive surge in the second half outscoring the Lakers 62-19 over the final two frames.
Delivering a career performance, fourth-year forward
Jevon Brown tallied a new career-high 28 points, shooting an efficient 11-for-16 from the floor, along with 6-for-9 from behind the arc. Brown also added a new career best 10 rebounds to make it a double-double, adding five assists, one steal, and one block to round out his night.
Also making a big impact from behind the three-point line, guard
Isaiah Bujdoso notched 19 points, including five three-point field goals made.
Six different Badgers made a three-pointer in the win with Brock finishing the contest shooting a season-best 43 percent from beyond the arc.
Leading the way for the Lakers was Noah LaPierre who recorded 17 points.
Brock remains in northern Ontario traveling to Sudbury to challenge the Laurentian Voyageurs tomorrow evening. Tip-off scheduled for 8 p.m., with the game available online via
