No. 4 Badgers fall to No. 5 Gaels

KINGSTON - The Brock men's basketball team returned from the holiday break against a fellow nationally-ranked opponent on Friday, Jan. 6.
 
The No. 4 Badgers fell by a score of 83-74 to the undefeated No. 5 Gaels in Kingston.
 
Brock's third-year point guard, Isaiah Bujdoso led all scorers with 27 points. He dished out six assists and added five rebounds including two steals during 38 minutes of action.
 
Jordan Tchuenete and Kascius Small-Martin contributed 16 and 15 points, respectively. Tchuente and Michael Okeke led the Badgers with seven boards each.
 
Daniel Caldwell added nine points and five rebounds.
 
After trailing by six points at halftime, the Badgers led by as many as five during the third quarter before the Gaels outscored Brock 29-21 in the fourth.
 
For Queen's, Cameron Bett recorded 19 points to lead the team in scoring.
 
The Badgers search for their first win of the new year when they travel to Oshawa to face the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks on Saturday, Jan. 7 at 8 p.m. Stream the game live on OUA.tv.
