The Brock women's hockey team snapped a three-game losing streak with a 3-1 victory over the visiting York Lions at Canada Games Park on Saturday, Nov. 11.
 
Madeline Nicholson and Allison Stevenson each scored their first goal of the campaign and Madison Cronkwright netted the game-winning goal.
 
Badgers netminder Kenzie Harmison kicked out 20 shots for her fourth win in between the pipes.
 
Nicholson opened the scoring by converting a feed from Allison Moore before the Lions responded in the second thanks to a goal from Julia Cuccia.
 
Cronkwright scored at 5:52 of the third period before Stevenson added an empty-net goal in the final minutes.
 
Brock's penalty kill unit successfully fended off all three power plays by York.
 
Lions goalie Emma Wedgewood faced 21 shots.
