In a commanding performance at Alumni Stadium, the Brock Badgers walloped the Windsor Lancers 5-0 during Ontario University Athletics (OUA) men's soccer play in Windsor on Sunday, Sept. 24.
Second-year forward
Luca Danesi scored two goals after
Noah DeDominicis, also a second-year forward, opened the scoring early in the first half.
Danesi added an assist.
Noah Geyer and
Marc Iantomasi each recorded a goal.
Jake Kelly,
Mateo Puentes and
Connor Carroll each contributed an assist.
From the opening whistle, Brock displayed their attacking intent, with DeDominicis breaking the deadlock in the 11th minute.
Danesi doubled the lead in the 17th minute. The Badgers continued their offensive onslaught as Iantomasi extended the lead to 3-0 in the 26th minute.
The second half featured no respite for Windsor as Danesi added his second goal in the 53rd minute. Geyer put the final nail in the coffin with a goal in the 68th minute.

Taylor Miskolczi made three crucial saves to secure a clean sheet. The Badgers dominated the stats by outshooting Windsor 13-9 and a 3-0 lead in corner kicks.
The Badgers improved to 4-2-0 in the season, and third in the OUA West Division, while Windsor's struggles continued, leaving them at 0-2-4.
Up next, the Badgers welcome the winless Algoma Thunderbirds (0-4-3) on Saturday, Sept. 30 at 3:15 p.m.
