Brock's regular season ended against York ahead of the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) playoffs.
The No. 8 nationally ranked York Lions got the better of the Brock Badgers men's soccer team on Sunday, Oct. 13, winning 6-1 in Toronto.
Tiago Pereira scored for Brock, with the third-year midfielder scoring a header off a corner kick from Lucas Medeiros early in the first half.
By halftime, the Lions were up 5-1 with each goal being scored by a different player.
The second half fared much better for the Badgers, allowing just one goal and giving up five shots.
The final shot total ended with York besting Brock 18-8.
Next, the Brock Badgers men's soccer team prepare for their OUA playoffs first round matchup as they travel to London on Saturday, Oct. 19, to face the Western Mustangs at 7 p.m.
The Badgers will be seeking to exact some revenge against the Mustangs with Western winning 2-0 at Alumni Field on Sept. 6, 2024 and both teams settling for a 0-0 draw on Sept. 8, 2024 in London.
