Brock drops six on Windsor, wins fourth game in a row

The Brock Badgers men's soccer team extended their winning streak to four games after defeating the Windsor Lancers.

Multiple two-goal performances helped the Badgers take down the Lancers on Friday, Oct. 4 in Windsor.

Malik Darbi and Noah Geyer scored two goals each in the contest, fueling the Badgers' drive as they dominated the Lancers from start to finish.

Nicholas Buccianti scored first for Brock in the 11th minute, with an assist coming from Nick Esperanca but Windsor tied the game shortly after.

With his first of the two on the night, Darbi put the Badgers back in front nearly 30 minutes into the contest.

Coming out of halftime, the Badgers opened the floodgates as they racked up four goals in the second half, with Darbi getting his second of the game and Geyer putting two past Windsor's Simon Grande in quick succession.

The Badgers' final and sixth goal of the contest was scored by Jake Kelly

Brock had 11 shots in the contest with eight hitting the target whereas Windsor had more shots in total, finishing with 20 and 12 on target.

Taylor Miskolczi had a terrific performance in the net and made 11 saves for the Badgers.

Up next, the Brock Badgers men's soccer team celebrate their seniors before their home contest against the Windsor Lancers on Sunday, Oct. 6 at 3:15 p.m. at Alumni Field. They will be looking to make it five straight wins.
