Brock earned their fifth straight victory thanks to a penalty kick from Conrad Czarnecki.
The Brock Badgers men's soccer team honoured their seniors on Sunday, Oct. 6. before they emerged victorious in a tight battle at Alumni Field.
With the win, the Badgers have a secured a spot in the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) playoffs with the location and opponent to be determined.
Fourth-year goalkeeper Taylor Miskolczi was outstanding as he earned his third clean sheet of the season for Brock, making three saves.
After a yellow card awarded to Windsor's Noah Branco in the box, Czarnecki scored his fourth goal of the season 21 minutes in from the penalty spot.
Coming out of halftime, the Badgers played magnificent defensively and withstood the pressure from the Lancers who tallied five shots.
Four yellow cards were handed out; one to Brock's Antonio DiGiovanni and one eachl to Branco, Kishon Cornwall and Grant Ferguson for Windsor.
The shots were in favour of the Badgers as they tallied 19 shots with nine on goal compared to seven shots and three on goal for the Lancers.
