The Brock Badgers women's soccer team settled for a tie against the Windsor Lancers on Senior Day.
On Sunday, Oct. 6, the Badgers took the pitch at Alumni Field in a low-scoring 1-1 match.
Jenna Parris had Brock's lone goal with a scorching shot in the 70th minute from a beautiful through-ball pass from Sabrina Bisante to tie the game up.
Shortly before Parris' goal, Windsor's Vanessa Corry broke the scoreless game in the 69th minute.
Brock's offence had a quiet first half as they failed to record a shot, while goalkeeper Emi Foster did her part in keeping the team in the game with five of her six saves in the first half.
In the shots department, the Lancers led with 10 shots and six on target as opposed to the Badgers' four shots with two on target.
Windsor also led the cards category with two yellow cards, compared to Brock's one yellow card called on Stefanie Young.
Next, the Badgers travel to Toronto to wrap up the regular season against the York Lions at York Lions Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 13 at 1 p.m. Last season, the Badgers played the Lions twice with both games ending in draws by scores of 1-1 on Oct. 20 2023 and 2-2 on Oct. 22 2023.
