Brock thumped Guelph to end a four-game losing streak.  

The Brock Badgers men's hockey team won 6-3 over the Guelph Gryphons on the road at the Gryphon Centre Arena in Guelph on Sunday, Nov. 10.  

Holden Rogers had a stellar night on offence with two goals and an assist in the game. 

The Badgers opened the scoring early in the first period with a Jacob Hoffrogge goal less than 30 seconds into the game, marking the first goal of his Ontario University Athletics (OUA) career.

Less than 60 seconds later, AJ Cook scored his first goal of the season and gave the Badgers an early 2-0 lead with less than 90 seconds of the game played.  

A goal from fourth-year forward Christophe Cote gave Brock a 3-0 lead late in the opening frame but was quickly answered by a Guelph goal.  

Zack Stringer and Rogers added the two goals in the second period while the Gryphons added one of their own. 

Samuel Vyletelka earned the win while posting a .923 save percentage. 

An empty net goal from Rogers was his ninth goal this season and capped off a brilliant display for the Badgers. 

The special teams made the difference as Brock converted three of the five power-play opportunities and killed off four of the six penalties against.
