Brock kept fans on the edge of their seats with a two-goal third period comeback and an eventual shootout win. 

The Brock Badgers men's hockey team collected two points in a nail-biting 3-2 shootout win over the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks on Thursday, Nov. 14 at the Campus Ice Centre in Oshawa. 

The two late third-period goals came from fourth-year forward Cole Tymkin and third-year defenceman Jonah Boria. 

After giving up a goal each in the first and second periods, the Badgers played shutdown defence for the rest of the night as they allowed zero goals for the remaining 40 minutes of regulation and overtime hockey. 

In the third period, it was assists from Jacob Hoffrogge and Christophe Cote that helped Tymkin find the back of the net. Moments later, Boria scored his first goal of the season off of a beautiful deke, giving the Badgers their second goal of the game to tie it up.

With no goals in the shootout rounds before him, Riley Gannon stepped up and put a top-shelf shot away for the winner.

Third-year goalie Samuel Vyletelka was in net for the Badgers and registered 30 saves on 32 shots while allowing zero goals in the shootout. 

The Badgers applied the pressure all game with 39 shots to the Ridgebacks' 32. 

Brock was lights out on the penalty kill, allowing zero goals on three shorthanded attempts.
