Brock was bested by nationally ranked Carleton.
The Brock Badgers men's basketball team closed out their weekend double-header against Ottawa teams with a 78-49 loss to the No. 7 Carleton Ravens on Sunday, Nov. 17 at Bob Davis Gymnasium.
Davanté Hackett led the Badgers in points with 13 in the contest. Michael Okeke's three assists were a Brock-high, as were Nils Gesmann's six rebounds.
Carleton got going quickly, creating an 11-2 lead early and finishing the first quarter with a 12-point advantage over Brock.
The momentum continued to stay with the Ravens, as the visitors knocked down four three-pointers in the second quarter to go up 45-25 at the half.
It was a similar second half as the Ravens expanded their lead throughout the third and fourth quarter to secure the Sunday afternoon victory.
The Badgers went five for 21 from behind the three-point line in the loss.
