Brock finished its Ottawa double-header against Carleton. 

The Brock Badgers women's basketball team fell 76-59 to the No. 6 nationally ranked Carleton Ravens at Bob Davis Gymnasium on Sunday, Nov. 17 in what was their first Ontario University Athletics (OUA) loss of the season. 

Madalyn Weinert led the Badgers with a double-double, scoring 16 points and registering 16 rebounds. The fourth-year guard also had a Brock-high five assists in the contest. 

An early surge from the Ravens helped the visitors lead 21-16 after 10 minutes played despite the Badgers cutting into their lead late.  

The second quarter was another closely contested one with Carleton finishing off a three-point play late to go into the half up 35-27.  

Carleton picked up the momentum in the second half, expanding their lead to 15 points at the end of the third quarter.  

Brock closed the game with a competitive fourth quarter but ultimately Carleton's lead-building throughout the contest was enough to take the victory.  

The Badgers knocked down seven three pointers while the Ravens went 8-21 from beyond the arc.
