The Brock Badgers men's basketball team exploded offensively with a regular season-high 91 points.
With the 91-81 win on Saturday, Nov. 30 over the Lancers at the Toldo Lancer Centre, the Badgers improved to a 7-3 record with their fourth straight victory.Â
Davanté Hackett led the Badgers with an Ontario University Athletics (OUA) career-high 29 points while Thierry Tshibola recorded a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds.
Brock also led the way from beyond the arc, scoring 12 of its 32 attempts for 37.5% compared to Windsor's 9-for-28 and 32.1%.
An exciting first quarter ended with the Badgers up 28-20 over the Lancers led by Hackett's eight points for Brock.
Hackett added to his point tally with 10 points in the second quarter for 18 in the half, propelling the Badgers to a 20-point lead by a score of 55-35.
Windsor pushed in the start of the second half, cutting the Badgers lead down to 11 points.Â
Late in the fourth quarter, the Lancers scored 13 straight points, but the Badgers held on, clinching the victory 91-81.
Off the bench, the Badgers led with 53 points while Windsor managed just 14.
