Brock encountered a defeat on the road.

On Saturday, Nov. 30, the Brock Badgers women's basketball team hit the floor against the Windsor Lancers where they fell 75-61 at Dennis Fairall Fieldhouse in Windsor. 

Fifth-year guard Angeline Campbell led the Badgers with 16 points while also picking up six rebounds. Both Madalyn Weinert (13) and Jamie Addy (11) also hit double-digit points in the loss.  

It was an uneventful first quarter for the Badgers as they struggled to find the basket while the Lancers used the mid-range and post to take an early 22-9 lead. 

Despite Windsor leading 39-31 at halftime, Brock cut into their advantage, playing much stronger offensively thanks to Campbell who delivered nine points in the quarter. 

A third quarter saw both teams exchange buckets, but it was ultimately the final minute of the frame where Campbell and Addy both scored to cut the lead to three as the Lancers led 54-51. 

The final frame was similar to the first one as the Lancers dominated to add to their lead and forced multiple turnovers to win the game. 

The field-goal percentage category was led by the Lancers with 39.4% as opposed to the Badgers' 33.3%. 

Next up, your Badgers take a break as they will return home to Bob Davis Gymnasium in the new year on Jan. 8, 2025 against the York Lions at 6 p.m. In their last meeting with York, Brock earned an 85-75 victory in Toronto on Jan. 19, 2024.
