Brock concluded the weekend on the road against Laurier.
The Brock Badgers women's hockey team fell 4-0 to the Laurier Golden Hawks on Saturday, Nov. 30 in Woodstock at the Southwood Arena in what was a community game for the Golden Hawks.
Laurier found early success on the power play in the contest, with two of their three first-period goals coming from the 5-on-4 advantage.
Looking to get back into the game, Brock kept things closer in the middle frame but the score remained 3-0 after 40 minutes as the second period ended scoreless.
The Golden Hawks would add another power-play goal in the third period to take the win against the Badgers.
In between the pipes for Brock in the contest was Ava Cruikshank, who finished with 27 saves against Laurier.
Next, the Brock Badgers women's hockey team returns early in the new year, facing the York Lions in Toronto on Sunday, Nov. 5 at 2 p.m. The game will be streamed on OUA.tv. The Badgers swept the season series against the Lions last season, winning 3-1 on Nov. 11, 2023 and 2-0 on Oct. 28, 2023 respectively.
