Badgers continue winning form against Warriors

The Brock Badger's men's soccer team triumphed over the Warriors in a thrilling victory.

Brock clinched a 2-1 win against Waterloo on Friday, Sept. 27 in Waterloo. 

Sebastian Petrilli opened the scoring in the 36th minute with his second goal of the season. 

Searching to increase their advantage, Malik Darbi gave the Badgers a 2-0 lead in the 70th minute, scoring his first goal as a Badger. 

Waterloo pulled a goal back late in the second half in the 86th minute. 

The Badgers held onto their 2-1 lead as goalkeeper Taylor Miskolczi was tasked with making a late 90th-minute save. In total, Miskolczi made two saves for Brock.  

Waterloo led in shots with seven compared to Brock's six and shots on goal with four compared to Brock's three. 

Brock's Tiago Pereira and Malik Darbi were shown a yellow card each. Waterloo had a yellow card each shown to Kevin Espiro, William Ratelband and Samuel Schafer 

Up next, the Brock Badgers men's soccer team return home to Alumni Field to face the Waterloo Warriors on Sunday, Sept. 29 at 3:15 p.m.
